It’s 5 am and the sun is about to rise
But I’m not able to shut my eyes
My mind is wandering here and there
This happens every day now, which was earlier rare

Then I ask myself what exactly is the reason
It’s the end of the summer season
Start of the fall
Yet the satisfaction of everything is so small
Why am I upset
Is it a pain of a regret
Is it a matter of the heart
Or a dilemma in the brain
For the remedy where should I start
Else this thing will drive me insane

Am I taking unnecessary worries
Lost the control in life’s hurries
Need to regain the control
Otherwise, this will definitely take a toll

I don’t know where I’ll go
Right now, I’m just swimming in the flow.
But where am I heading, to the shore or the ocean
In front of me, there is just one question
I need some introspection
Is the flow taking me to the shore
or are the troubles going to be more
Because with the tick of the clock
This flow might take me to the rocks

  1. Hey, I know poetry can be creative and it’s really great what you’ve written but if you’re experiencing personally what you’ve described, that could be because you might have anxiety. Also, in case you feel lonely or need to vent, do feel free to get in touch with me here or on facebook. You’re not alone so don’t suffer it by yourself.
Also, on another note, I’m not sure of you have already been nominated before or you checked the post out yet, I nominated you on my latest post for the Sunshine Blogger award because you share photographs that often make me wish to write. Thanks for being such a source of inspiration and calm. ❀πŸ₯Ί

    1. Hey Shruba,

First of all thank you so much. It takes one to be really empathetic to reach out to someone else for such support.
I had written this poem a couple of years ago, just shared it now , and at that time I was probably in a rough phase. Things are a lot better now. 😊
For the award, thank you again 😊 , I will check out the post soon.

      1. Aww thanks, I’m empathetic yes, but it’s only what friends are there for. I consider my blogging community like a second family or extended friend circle so it’s only natural for me to check up on you. I’m glad to know you’re in a better position now than before. Take your time, hope you’ll enjoying reading the award post! πŸ₯°β˜Ί
