The Flow

How often in life we find ourselves at the boulevard of uncertainty and when we don’t know which street to take. I’ve heard a countless number of times that just go with the flow in these moments. But the problem is,  Time is like a river, You can not touch the same water twice because the flow that has passed will never pass again. So when you are with that flow, you’ll never get to go back to that point again as time never runs backward.

Life is never stagnation. It is constant movement. Be like water – flexible and adaptive but Perceive, Intuit, see. Just discern whether the flow is taking you to the right sea because the flow may very well end up taking you to the rocks.

I’ve written few words about this below –

 

I was told, You can reap the benefits of what you sow

And Life’s simple, Just Go with the flow

I was told, It’s important to keep going

So I wandered alone unknowing

But the real world is cold

I got lost in discovering my soul

Then I thought, I was told a lot

And I followed it all

Then why did I get lost

Maybe this is all just a plot

I don’t want it to be this way till I reach the grave

Maybe I’m surfing on the wrong wave

Maybe they were wrong all along

I’m in a river, where I don’t belong

Even a dead fish can go with the flow

Now I feel no shame in saying I don’t know

It will take too many years to build

what I want to own, which I still don’t know

But even by perceiving this

I’m halfway done with the foundation stone

I don’t need to follow the flow

I’ll create my own road.
