Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm but to add color to my sunset sky – Rabindranath Tagore

clicked while watching clouds lying on the grass
Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.Since I was living in a hill station there were plenty of opportunities.

A cloudy day in Mussoorie
I watched them at the sunsets while sipping tea and watching the clouds complementing the colors of the sun.

A serene sunset and a cloud passing by quietly
Or I watched them after the rains when the sun is trying to come through the clouds providing a silver lining to the clouds.

after a little shower of raindrops
Or on some really quite evenings when you’ve had quite a few hectic days, watching the serene clouds could heal the body as well as the mind.

little joys between hectic days
And the best season is the monsoon. Although monsoon in hills can be quite irritating since it rains continuously for days at times. But ultimately when it stops, you get to see some magnificent views of clouds

I can still imagine myself as lying on the grass and watching clouds and listening to the following lines.
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one
John Lennon
